Cookie policy

This page lists every cookie OpinionReady sets, what each one does, how long it lasts and whether it requires your consent. The list is short because the site does not carry advertising trackers, and any cookie not named here is not one of ours.

Cookies we set

NamePurposeLifetimeConsent
or_session Keeps you signed in between pages Session, extended on activity Not required — strictly necessary
or_csrf Protects forms against cross-site request forgery Session Not required — strictly necessary
cookie-consent Remembers the choice you made on the consent banner 12 months Not required — records your own choice
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics: counts visits and which pages are read 13 months Required — set only if you opt in

What we do not set

No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, no social network embeds that load third-party cookies. This is not a principled stand so much as a practical one: we sell sample to research teams, not attention to advertisers, so there is nothing for those cookies to do here.

Changing your choice

Declining leaves the site fully usable, including signing in, taking studies and cashing out, because those depend only on the strictly necessary cookies above. You can change your decision at any time from the link in the footer, and the change takes effect immediately rather than on your next visit.

Your browser can also block or clear cookies directly. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will prevent you from staying signed in, which is a limitation of how sessions work rather than a choice on our part.

What measurement can see

Where you opt in, we see aggregate page views and navigation paths. We do not send your email address, your panel identifier or your profile answers to the analytics provider, and we do not join that data back to your account.

Pages behind sign-in are excluded from search engine indexing and are not used for any advertising purpose. How the rest of your data is handled is set out in the privacy policy.
